Our therapists are responsible for providing appropriate assessments, working with the client to set relevant treatment goals and developing a care plan in collaboration with the client, their family and the funding government agency. Adult caseloads can include difficulties with mobility, home safety , home modifications/equipment needs, activities of daily living, mental health, general debility of age, and cognition.  Paediatric caseloads come with diagnoses such as developmental delay, cerebral palsy, spinal bifida, autism, and other  congenital syndromes and motoric delays.   We also contract therapists to provide private therapy services to our clients, such as mobility assessments.

Volume of work is negotiable and can vary from one day/week up to five days/week.  Our therapists schedule their own visits, allowing great flexibility in their hours of work.

The successful applicant has a Baccalaureate Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and  is registered with The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.  A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.  The applicant must carry professional liability insurance (malpractice, errors and admissions) and comprehensive general liability insurance. A minimum of 5 years clinical experience is preferred.  Community based experience is also preferred.
